Fire of Me

by Taylor   Jan 4, 2007

I was made to cast afire,
to strike the match once
and lead you to the findings
of your own fantastic desire.

Created to love you in the flames,
consume you in the dance,
but in the midst of ashes,
leave you to the dusty frames.

Seep into the sky, I fly
don’t seek to hold me again
I am long-gone.
Remeber me.
Goodbye.

This is not one of my favorites of yours, but it is still a good poem. i liked a lot of your stanzas, but the last one did not flow as well with the rest of the poem. [:

Nice poem with great word choice
all you have to do is change some typing errors, it is a great poem though, a 5/5 from me.
