Pot of Love

If love could be a color, would you make it red?
That's too traditional, make it green instead.
Green would stand for envy, as love is hard to find.
Purple's quite magestic, for love so sweet and kind.
You could make it blue, for the coldest heart,
Or lighten up the shade, when it wants a brand new start.
Yellow would look so happy and it's awful bright,
It would remind us of a twinkle, like the stars at night.
Orange is pretty nice, it's hot just like our sun,
So many colors , could you just pick one?
I'd put them all together, a rainbow it would be,
And when I got to the end, a pot of love for me!
