Dialectic of You and Me

by Harry P   Jan 12, 2007

You can scream, but I can't
You can cry, but I can't
You can nag, but I can't
You can and I can't

You're weak, I am strong
You're meek, I am aggressive
You're broke, I am firm
You're you and I am me

You opened your heart
I entered into your life
You dreamed for the future
I take the pleasure of the present

You can laugh, but I can't
You can celebrate, but I can't
You can live alone, but I can't
You can and I can't

You're feeler, I am a thinker
You're gutsy, I am cautious
You're carefree, I am anxious
Coz you loved and I lust

In the end, You won and I lost
