Love

by DarkJem   Jan 15, 2007

Lips cold as ice
sweet sacrifice
frozen to the touch
i loved you so much
holding me tight
all through the night
leaving me here
losing what's so dear
our dwindling flame
Am i to blame?

You were a virus
you infected me with your charm
then you left and i shut down
blocked out the world
the pain
everything
i was healing
slowly inside
i thought that you were finally gone
i was wrong

you turned and looked at me
eyes full of hate
what did i do?
what was my mistake?
i tried to speak
throat was dry
ran home
tears poured down my cheeks
hid in my room
knock on the door.

it was you
your hair was matted with tiny beads
cheeks wet
saw your face
fresh tears sprouted
all you said was sorry
i asked you why
you said it again
asked you again
you said that you cheated
