In Thought

I thought that it was magic
I thought that it was true
I thought that it was burning love
Until the flame died out

I thought you were the one
The only one for me
But then these tears came pouring down
With no one left to see

I thought you really cared for me
I thought you'd never leave
Until you broke my heart in two
And left me here to bleed

So as I'm slowly dying
Lying right here all alone
My world is falling all apart
Just wondering now, in thought
