Letter

Welcome back to our little town,
I am glad to have gotten to see you again,
I enjoy being around you, hearing your voice
My love, my best-friend.

Even though my love goes far beyond,
I cannot express it in words here,
My love cannot be expressed in a letter,
But only in a tear.

The tear of love, or the tear of pain
Whichever it may be it keeps me sane.

Before you arrived,
I planned everything I would say,
But when I saw you I couldn't speak
You took my breath away.

I know you love someone else,
But I have to tell you this,
When you are around I feel so,
Alive, so bliss.

I miss how we were,
Even though we may never be,
I miss the way you looked,
And the way you felt, when you kissed me.

I apologize for writing this letter,
I'm sorry for telling you how I feel
I shouldn't be writing this,
Even though I don't know whats the deal.

I shall repeat,
What Ive told you before,
I love you more than anything,
Even though my heart is sore.

I hope you are happy,
With your new other,
Just promise me this,
You'll treat me like a brother.

Though Id love to be much more,
You know we cant,
Though Id love to sneak a kiss,
But hurt myself I shan't

Though I may be jealous
I still believe in a fair game,
And doing that to us,
Would bring me unimaginable shame.

Whether we die together,
Or we die apart,
I want you to know this,
