Love Changes Everything

by МÅťťђĕш Яĕĩŋĕßĕřg   Apr 1, 2004

Love will turn your world around,
At first at snail's pace.
But once in sweet passion's promenade.
It becomes a frantic race.

Yes Love is leaving our safest haven
And journeying into night.
With Love we have a light to guide us,
And in the dark it seems more bright.

Love will take the daylight hours
And set the sun afire.
It burns in us a flame of fervor
And fills us with desire.

And Love can make the days seem longer;
Stretched out as naught before.
Our lifetime appears to take forever,
And yet we live not one second more.

Love will take what once was nothing
And fill it full of being.
For Love works in mysterious ways,
Believing still is seeing.

Now, Love paints pictures with our lives
Our souls made vibrant red.
For what once was dull and grey
Appears to be a rosy bed.

Love must make our lives alive
With a whirlpool of glee.
And we find ourselves wondering,
“Who am I if not for thee?”

Thus Love has spun our world fast
Down is up and up is down
Nothing is as it was before
It has turned our lives around.

Love has changed our lives forever
It will make us who we are.
For once we find our other half,
We outshine the Northern Star.
