If I could show you how much I love you
I'd write it in a tree
it would stay there forever engraved
but it wouldn't be big enough to see

If I could write it over again
I'd write it in the sand
but it wouldn't be big enough
you still wouldn't understand

If I could place it anywhere
the clouds would tell it all
everyone might see it from far away
but it would still be too small

If I could chance it's place once more
I'd place it in the stars
creatures from different worlds would know
that I'll love you - near or far

But since I cannot do any of that
I'll just tell you to your face
and hopefully you'll just figure it out
this is something you can't replace
