Distance of Love

Don't forget me

A sunny day
At the beach
Three girls wander aimlessly
A guy in the surf
Baring a sigh
The girls wave
And catch his eye
He smiles back
They die inside
He gets out of the water
And waits by the side
Acting cool, though he thinks not
The girls walk over
And think he's hot
Attraction connects
One girls steps up
He's got them hooked
Locked in his gaze
Then they learn,
He lives three thousand miles away
Once its time to say goodbye,
The final glance of his electric blue eyes
They get his connection
And write it down
Then they leave
Wearing frowns
Something was present
That went unfound
Attraction wasn't the only thing going down
Two months later they talk online
Cracking jokes
One girl knows, "He's all mine"
Four months of non-stop chat
Knowing each other
From front to back
Though distance makes them far apart
They stay close to each others hearts
Although the haven't seen each other
Since last summer
They know soon enough they'll be together
So boy don't forget her
