In My Arms

by John Bowlby   Jan 28, 2007

Holding you,
In my arms,
This is true,
Like a charm.

Brush my hand lightly,
Across your face,
Hold you tightly,
We embrace.

I lean forward for a kiss,
Emotions in tutti,
I nearly miss,
In your beauty.

This moment lasts,
For hours on end,
When it finally passes,
We portend.

The next night,
We do it all again,
Just one plight,
Of where and when.
