I Remember

by Yvette Gibson   Jan 28, 2007

I remember the first time I meet you,
My eyes were glued to yours.
I didn't know what came over me,
The first time I walked though those doors.

The first time that we had met,
I can't quite remember what I had to say,
I know if it was really important,
I would have remembered it till this day.

And maybe someday I will remember,
When the sun is out and the sky is blue.
And my little mind remembers,
My voice and what had tunned to.

I remember the first dance I had with you,
Will never escape my mind.
For the song was Far Away,
And are moves were oh so kind.

Sadly I also remember,
Of what my friends had to say.
About you didn't want to dance with me,
That I was just your pity for the day.

I guess it still hurts,
To know that is was true.
The way you decided to abuse my heart.
That day you surly of had too.

I remember the first time kissed though,
At the Christmas Dance in December.
I remember you lifted my chin up,
So that are lips could be dead centered.

I cried in your arms that night,
But you wouldn't have noticed.
For my tears were surly happy,
And I quickly did postponed it.

I remember the first date we had,
When I went to your Gran's for dinner.
It was indeed a great night,
For I came out like a winner.

I remember the first time I met you,
My eyes glued to yours.
You may not have known it then,
but we would indeed be something more.

First line,-I think- should be "I met you"
nicely written, the emotions and feelings come out really well
    wel done
    keep it up :)
