    This was so sad =(
I almost cried when you were writing this and then again when reading it.
I'm just glad that you're finally able to deal with what happened now.
I thought that it was beautifully written, the rhyme scheme and flow was perfect and the imagery was good.

Drink driving is so tragic. whatsmore the driver knows the risks but says "it won't happen to me," then they hit some unsuspecting person, and that's it, over in a second.
This awful story was told well in this poem.
The best part of the poem was the ending.By then you seemed to have got into the rhythm and good use of language.
The beginning could be a little better, I think. The rhyme in the first stanza seemed a little forced. Also, the use of more creative, descriptive words would make the poem more powerful. Try a thesaurus for alternative words for those you've already used.
I think you have potential. Keep writing.
