Thinking of you

by Dean Ali   Jan 31, 2007

Laying in my room,
Feeling all that's new,
Time goes on,
Do we really change.

Society may be falling,
War may rise,
But As I sit here upon my bed,
So many thoughts reside within my head,
I can't sleep tonight, but that's OK,
I get to talk to you another day.

I may not have known you long,
But I know you like to sing a song,
You are all I could hope for in a friend,
and we will be friends til the bitter end.

Though we've only met the once,
There's something I must apprehend,
You are in my heart,
and have a place there forever.

No matter what goes on,
I'll be here with you,
Whether in spirit,
or in flesh,
my love for you will stay true.
