Let your thoughts collect in my lap.
Just place all your burden on me.
Excuse me but I'm much too tired.
But is it really time to leave?

Dont bother to flash a smile.
Just turn your head away and flee.
If promises are really made to be broken.
I promise its alright for you to leave.

    Sad write. It was short and heartbreaking. The last line was certainly a soul grabber.
    The one thing I will say though, the flow is lacking on the last line of the first stanza. The rhythm became jumpy, causing me to stumble. Maybe some rewording is needed there?
