Tribute to Black History

by Ike Dizzle   Feb 4, 2007

If I could go back in time
Id know what it was like
What my ancestors went through
Why they chose to fight

They gave so much
So you and I could be free
So rights would be equal
With no slavery

No one will own us
We can get an education
We can be friends with all people
With no discrimination

No more getting hosed
Whipped or none of those things
All thanks to a man named
Martin Luther King

I loved learning about Martin Luther King, i chose to do my R.E project on him in High school, he was a fascinating man and i think the way he died was awful.
But he'll always be remembered. The fact he knew how he was going to die was scary..
    Excellent tribute!
