Thank You

by whatsername   Feb 5, 2007

They clothed us when we were little,
The cared for us when we were sick,
They took away our soothers,
They made us scream and kick,
We yelled and cried for hours,
Thinking we'd get our way,
Though it never happened,
We still love them everyday,
Now we're getting older,
We think its so uncool,
Just to be seen with our mom,
But thats definately not a rule,
Moms are what we need,
They'll always be by our side,
Whether its picking out an outfit,
Or helping to decide,
They'll love us forever and ever,
Love us through good or bad,
Be there when we're lonely,
Or even when we're sad,
Nothing can get past them,
They know us all too well,
So think about what you have,
And be happy you have someone to tell,
I just want to say thank you,
For everythings you've done,
You've made me who I am,
And taught me to have fun,
Though we've had our moments,
We've only had a few,
Okay maybe we've had a lot,
But we've always stuck it through,
No matter how much we fight,
You'll always be my mom,
No matter what anyone says,
You've been there all along.
