Goddess of Love

by NytherHerenorTher The hooded poet   Feb 6, 2007

The people of this world are at privilege to gaze at thy beautiful face
You are like unto the sun itself, radiantly bright
Oh how I marvel and wonder at thy
loveliness,
your allure unrivaled, unparalleled

Goddess of love, queen of passion,
take me to thy palace,
and let mine eyes gaze upon your grace
Thy every word, an adornment to my ears, thy voice as sweet as nectar

How can I have thee, oh mysterious butterfly,
how may I go about to capture thee?
No, I shall let it be shone unto all,
your elegance not be in-caged

What fascination and wonder I receive, when
I am at liberty to be in thy presence
