Missing you always

by charity   Feb 6, 2007

As I sit and watch all the other couples gliding across the gym floor.as they dance to the final song of the fall dance I think of you.

I think of how safe you made me feel to be tucked in your arm's safe forever with you by my side we would always say."

Now I no longer feel safety as venerable as a baby bird just hatched form its shell.
I don't know what to do or where to turn since you left.

it was not my fault they all told me. "it was an accident you could not of stopped it."

oh but i could of that's where they are wrong. he did not half to leave when he did aw 16 such a young age but the best and worst years of my life.

the dance is almost over as it was that night you left...roads covered with fog and damp with the dew.

as I slowly pull out of the parking lot and head down the dimly lit road as you did that night my eyes start to tear and as the images and thoughts of you flood my mind.

swerve to miss a car that really is not there. pull into the driveway, turn off the car and sit and cry in the darkness.

for you see one year has passed since you left.sitting on bended knee staring at the headstone words inscribed
"our dear son missed by all."

plz comment i would love to hear what you think.
