A ROAD CALLED LOVE

by *unpredictable*   Feb 6, 2007

His bluish greenish eyes scanned my body,

Outlining every devious curve,

Memorizing every freckle,

Every strand of hair,

From across the pool he acknowledged my smile,

And in exchange, smiled back

His smile; bright as the sun,

Made me want to fall into the water,

Over, and over again,

His athlete like physique,

His ocean like eyes,

His candy like smile,

Made my heart do back flips, front flips, and side flips!

He implanted butterflies in my stomach,

Yet this was only the beginning;

The beginning of a long, difficult journey on a road called, “Love”.
