True Lovers

by MidnightKisses   Feb 7, 2007

She's nothing but
a teenage girl, who
is in love with her
former boyfriend; whom
she's back with. They
are truly in love.

Now she's that
teenage girl whose
heart is broken. Another
girl got in the way.
He's the reason for the
teardrops on her steering
wheel.

A month later,
still with a broken
heart. Seeing them
together, she goes
to the lake; where
they made love at
and cried her eyes out.
There at the lake, she
burns all of his pictures
and love notes.

A year later, she's
the same girl, whom
never fell out of love
from him. He's finally
realized, it's her he
loves.

Two years later,
they're more in
love than ever.
He goes out to
buy her an
engagement ring.
He gets down on
one knee and proposes,
she says yes.

The wedding was
beautiful. They said
their vows under
the 4th of July
fireworks. Their family
and friends were there
crying and wishing
them the best.

Five years later,
they're still a
beautiful couple
with two children.
The girl looks like
him. The boy looks
like her. Watching
their kids grow up
reminds them of their
youthful years and how
their love first started.

Now they're an
old married couple.
He's 89 and she's
87. They've been
married for 67 years
and their love is
still strong. As their
days gets shorter and
numbered; there are less
hugs, less kisses, but never
less of I Love Yous.
