To Late

*[[ my friend Jessica helped me write this one ]]*

On the floor,
I'm lying now,
As you watch,
The river flow,

In my world,
Nothing was right,
You didn't care,
I was hurting,

When I left,
Slowly you realized,
You needed me,
You wanted me,

Now I'm gone
And you didn't know
How to go on

When I was there,
You were so low,
You didn't know,
You were killing me,
Or so it seemed,

Day after day,
The teasing,
The tripping,
The harassment,

It got worse,
Year by year,
It was clear,
It needed to end,

I took the blade,
And pushed down,
On my wrist,
On a vein,

The river came,
Oh so fast,
As I saw you,
You were there,

You saw me,
At me low,

I never knew,
Why you came,

I left to fast,
As you watched,

As the days went on,
You visited me,
Every night,

You stayed with me,
Even though,
I was gone,
And it was to late.
