Please Cupid

by LoveableADii   Feb 9, 2007

Cupid I know you mean well,
but really hes just a pal,
I know you want me to fall in love,
but this is more like a shove,
Cupid all I do is get hurt,
really what is any of this worth?
Nothing will happen between him && me,
If only he could see,
Cupid this boy has no clue,
If only you knew,
Im tired of Broken hearts && crying,
All this lying && fake smiling,
Cupid dont let this happen again,
Because this time I will pretend,
that I want nothing to do with him,
Cupid my heart says love him,
my mind screams forget him.
Both just want him to love me,
So please Cupid; let us be.

Sad yet touching, A simple game that is started by a person we call cupid. You show all the this game. You show the price for losing and winnning. You show the pain and missery made by just a single person, all because of a game called love. I really liked this poem. Awsom, keep it up
