Forgotten Legend, Forgotten Story

by The Moonlight Flower   Feb 14, 2007

There is a legend, A forgotten story that was lost in the depths of time now it has been rekindled by the light of day.

It was said:

She who waits a thousand year
Moved even by the Goddess Freya.

She was granted eternal life,
As she waits for pure love.

Love that is of the deepest emotions
It surpasses that of hate, fear, and despair combined

On a clear winter night,
When the full moon rises
Upon the midnight sky.

A flower awakens,
And blooms in the moonlight.

With peddles of white crystals,
And a center of black stone.

Faintly glowing with her golden tears
An image of her would appear.

For a thousand years she has waited
Still today she is searching for pure love

This is the curse, this is the blessing
This is the legend of The Moonlight Flower
