Shouldve Used a Chain

by Stewart   Feb 14, 2007

Lost
But not of words
As like many I to have my own story to tell
But unlike others mine
Is cold and haunted of shadows
Shadows that I struggle to clear from my head
But at the same time fight to remain

As I sit in pitch dark
I grip the tether
tether that has seen the test of time
Worn as like me
Beatten but has not met it's end
So I shall soon met my end
Exceeding to kill myself and end it all
I put the tether around my neck
As I feel my adams apple take its last gulp
Fill my lungs with that final breath
I leap to my dispar
As I came to a abbrupt hault
I seen nothing
No lights
No fire of Hell
Just darkness and the most obscene noice
Piercing my ear drums
I had fallen
Broken the tether
And been knocked unconscious
By the unforgiving cement floor

Now even more depressed
Because I even failed to take my own life
