Dying Dance

by Vyntrrose   Feb 16, 2007

Alone at night beside a darkened pool
Of bleeding hearts of those who were denied
Their love, and those who worked as someones tool
Now in shadowed mist of tears reside
A single lonesome soul who stands alone
With bloodshot eyes that see surrounding pain
These images recorded in the stone
These smears of blood that leave a lasting stain
In sorrow she is held on brink of life
In rage she screams and falls with dying breath
In fear she walks on blade of silver knife
In her heart she knows it's time for death
And so in ravage fury she doth dance
To throw herself upon this poisoned lance
