This poem is beautiful as it is sad. Like the day and night, the opposites of emotion repose a heartfelt attraction of deep abiding love and sadness. I was moved by how simple each line are able to grasp the readers soul and pull into the depths of pain, yet transcend with unyielding beauty.

If this has truly happened to you, I am terribly sorry for your loss. No parent should have to bury their child.
