I tried to go to sleep last night
I tried to close my eyes
To forget those hurtful memories
To run away and hide
Your voice kept running through my head
Kept crossing my endless mind
Images of you shown everywhere
Making everything seemingly blind
And every single word that you said
Every breathe that you took
Fills my ears with greater fear
And makes me dare not look
The memories we shared that once brought me joy
Now brings me miserable pain
All those feelings I now have lost
That you had helped me gain
I wish you would leave me once again
As you left me once before
