Our eyes meet

by Ashley   Feb 19, 2007

I sit in church and our eyes meet
you shyly look away and take your seat
my grandpa tells me you are moonstruck over me
And I look over and see
Your no hottie but you have a nice smile
Your eyes are dark and kind with no guile
I wonder do you like me?- a plain girl
I'm not pure and surely posess no allure
You seem kind and want to be a preacher
Yet your different then any guy I have met
You're no hottie, and not loud and gangster
Your just quiet, kind and shy
Why haven't I noticed you this past year?
But now I do and I wonder about you
Is it possible...
We only spoke once and that was quick
I wish you'd speak to me
But I'll wait and if you decide to approach me,
well let's just wait and see.
