Is the past no longer?

by ashley   Feb 20, 2007

I look at everyone and yet all I ever see is you and I. The memories we created are still rummaging through my mind. Now seeing you with her is killing me fast and yet ever so softly.

I try to hide the pain and tears, but the truth hurts. I've had you once and many times there after and I'm still afraid to let you go. You've seem to have moved on so quickly, but here I am stuck in the depth of the past.

I still long for the day when you will leave her and come back to the past so we can make a new future. Until then, memories of us will still rummage through my mind. And maybe one day I'll realize the present is the new future and the past is no longer.
