Make Believe

by Avrii Monrielle   Feb 21, 2007

Here we are, in Make Believe
A place that we call home
Right here, these three boxes are
A lovely, lit up throne

Sitting is the princess,
With natural, light blue hair
Fifteen flowers are her crown
In a kingdom that's quite fair

The valley holds a village
Inside the watered lawn
Of little girls and boys
That dance in rise of dawn

This isn't in a story book
There's too many to be written
But the lovely world of Make Believe
Is something found within

I can connect with this poem in many ways. I am in this role play that has to do with this, and the way you wrote it, made me look back on all the good times! Thanx, and keep on writing!

Very much like a fantasy! I love it! You write so many good poems, and each one has it's own story. It's quite exciting!

This was quite different than other fantasy poems I've read, but it's good. Very good.
