It Wasn't Real

by NytherHerenorTher The hooded poet   Feb 21, 2007

All the special moments that we had shared,
it was a lot more to me than you
I thought we were connecting, I thought it would
last,
but in the end I had to face the truth

The pain that I now have to bare, you in my
mind, constantly there,
I guess I always knew it wasn't going to work
out, that you didn't care

So I wove a tapestry, painted a lie,
mind in denial, heart in a cry
Hoping my seed would blossom and grow,
but there was no rain nor sunshine,
because,
it wasn't real
