The Party

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Feb 21, 2007

A huge house,
Almost scary to be in,
A sure place to get lost,
Worrying that we would break something.
Everything there was expensive,
Even the pillows on the couch!
Tickling and wrestling,
Everybody wondering how
We could finally be together again
And how we were one once more,
Sitting there watching games
And laughing when we screwed with the score.
Hiding in a corner,
Watching movies in the theater room,
Horror flicks and humor,
Nuns screaming for their doom.
A silent kiss, so wonderful,
Finally, the touch,
Showed me and him,
What we needed, just how much.
More movies, and dinner,
Talking and playing games,
Making eyes at each other,
Calling each other names,
Maybe six in the morning,
And everyone's asleep,
Except for four teenagers
Who are making not a peep.
One has got a flashlight,
One has lip gloss and eye shadow,
One is simply sitting there laughing,
While the last is screaming, "NO, NO, NO!"
After two leave,
And he and I are left alone,
I glance in his direction
And admire the make-up on his skin tone.
Sadly, I have to admit,
He looked like a clown,
And when I told him that,
It really brought him down.
So then we sat on the windowsill,
The sun rising ever clear
We made out in the darkness,
So thankful to be here.
We finally rose, after four long kisses,
And when we got to the top of the stairs,
We made out one last time,
Not caring if anyone was there.
The next day, our group played soccer
And football and keep-away,
With just a hint of wrestling,
We didn't want it to go away.
He got the football once,
I got to him with ease,
And attempted to grab the ball before
He forced me to my knees.
The snow clung to my shoes and jeans,
And lingered on my skin,
He took my hands in his, and somehow
Made them warm again.
We went inside for hot chocolate
Before they had to leave,
Saved some time for pictures
And the first 10 minutes of a movie.
Saying goodbye was super hard,
We didn't know when we'd see each other again,
We gave everyone really short hugs
Then joined for the longest one yet.
Someone came to break it up
But then we started to kiss,
And that person walked away, saying
"I'm not gonna break up this!"
So we said goodbye
To the fun of the party,
The most magical weekend of our lives,
What showed us the meaning of you and me.

*Not gonna make any sense at all unless you were at Perky's house over the weekend...FUN PARTY!!!!*
