Blushed Saunter

by N J Thornton   Feb 23, 2007

Blushed and porcelain
upon pedestal - today
with the first frost;
contrary to a final maiden's saunter.

Flame sways for keen eyes;
beckons two gilt bands - static.
Mutter for mutter - coupled -
a sweep of pink petals.

Promenade and painted flecks...

Flash -

- fountain for nostalgia.
