I remember a time when your words lingered
and your eyes reflected.
I was madly in love with those words,
those eyes.

I remember a time when i was nothing, and you were my everything.
I never let go,
I never could.

I remember a time when I cried tears for you,
those useless tears,
that I thought would never end.

But that was then, and the tears did end.

life is still moving on,
