What Lies Beneath Your Skin

by Corinne   Feb 25, 2007

What lies beneath your skin
That makes me want to
Touch your this, touch your that?
What magnet draws me in
Compelling me to
Launch my sensual attack?

When hands are not enough
I become an anaconda
Entwined around you
Sometimes gentle, sometimes rough
That’s what it takes
For my love to surround you

A mystery forever unsolved
Taking me so far beneath
That I reach into your soul
Alchemy must be involved
That transforms you into
Shining, gleaming gold

But now I wait for
My glowing - my melting
Oh - please - let it begin
I unlock my door
So you can slip inside to find
What lies beneath my skin

What a wonderful piece you have written.

    But now I wait for
    My glowing - my melting
Oh - please - let it begin
    I unlock my door
So you can slip inside to find
    What lies beneath my skin

    Loved this.

Very sensual to make you feel giddy. The "touch this, touch that" in the first stanza - very sexy.
Your wording was clever. I enjoyed it.
