Goodbye to You

by Mackenzie   Feb 27, 2007

Thats it
It's over.
The love was blooming greatly
Has died.
Tears stream down my face
Like little raindrops.
You left behind the pieces
After breaking my heart.
Not knowing the pain you left
You walk away from me.
I stand there waiting for you to trun around and Say "I love you"
But nothing happens.
You just fade in the distance.
But I'm over you and on with my life.
The tears shed mean nothing now.
Just a memory of the past
The sun is shining now
The twinkle in my eye has returned.
So this poem is for past love
The one you tore to pieces
And left behind for me to pick up.
Goodbye to you.
My old love.

Your best poem yet, but I think this might belong in the sad poems section.
