Nobody knows how I feel
When I lay awake at night
Wishing that you were here
Wishing that I could feel your touch
And the warmth of your body next to mine

I slowly drift off to sleep
Thinking of you
Of how much I want to be with you
How much I want to hold you in my arms

When I am asleep
I dream of you
We are together
Without a care in the world
We were together
Just you and me

When I wake
I feel really down
As I realize
Another day has come
Without you by my side
I sigh and try to move on
But each day gets harder,
As the weeks without you go by.
