When Summers Just Not Here

by Ian Robert   Mar 3, 2007

Your smiles burnt into my memory
And all the feelings you give me
Consume this little world we have here
This place that we swore we would never end up
I cant stand to hear that you've had enough

Rain drops like tears falling down for all these years
Never thought about the things that make up your fears
Kind of sad thinking that I'm the reason your not here
Writing this while you do your makeup in the mirror
I'm thinking of you right now Cause you make me See things clearer

Maybe my face is stained by this emotion
But I feel it inside I can prove my devotion
Lets get away from this place I know of an ocean
This life just makes me sick and you lift that up and away
Sometimes I get lost in your eyes; stuck in my own dismay

Sure everybody has there own problems but ours seem so bad
I don't want to be one of the reasons that you get mad
Just want be who you go to like a dragonfly to the lily pad
Guess we can try again if you'll stand back up with me
Please take a second to step back and properly see
