Last night I went through my closet
Not knowing what I would find

I was looking for my suitcase
When it finally caught my eye

A little blue box
With your letters locked inside

I opened it up
To find what I thought I left behind

I started going through your letters
Through the memories we shared

I looked at the card you gave me
Last Valentines day

I remember that day so clearly
I remember the love we had

So I sat on my floor for a few more minutes
Thinking about the words you said

But now forever seems dead
