I feel like a tree without leaves,
All alone in a cold night.
I feel like the sky without the sun,
No warmth from the sunlight.
I feel like a fish without water,
Flapping around on the dirt.
I feel like a bird without wings,
Wishing I could fly without getting hurt.
I feel like a turtle without its shell,
Now I got no where to hide.
I feel like a beach without sand,
Won't be lying there waiting for the tide.
I feel like a pen without ink,
Can't get anything done.
