Grey Skies

by Sage x3   Mar 6, 2007

The sky hovers above,
threatening to fall,
out of fear;
out of love,
she'd give up it all.

Grey, dim clouds above the ground,
make their way through the sky,
when he's near;
when he's around,
she feels like she can fly.

The air wisps her hair,
and she can't help but cry,
when he disappears;
when he's not there,
she feels like she might die.

Stars ascend above her head,
and shes alone and scared,
sitting quietly,
on her bed,
her sense of feeling is impaired.

"How does a feeling so strong,
make me so weak?"
she whispers,
as her grey eyes go bleak,
wrapped in solitude,
as she falls into endless sleep.
