Of Mice and Men0077

by Aussie   Mar 7, 2007

As the stars wrapped the sky
this tired some day
my mind buzzes through
my long If wish list
once again
i'm a wasteful loser
can't do a thing right
why do i bother walking?
there's only another business night
a cry of a child
coming from my right ear
"Oh, i'm sorry George,
i won't do it again."
my body temperature drops cold
oh no, my son feels blue
i warm him up
by telling him a dream
of a place only we
a smile popes up
my eyes brightens from the the sight
as i draw deeper
the sand beneath my feet
form weightless clouds
and a little boy's laughter
from the background
when i shut my eyes
i told myself
" why not,
i can fight another day"
*i had to write a 30 line poem of Mice and Men. this is the first chapter.*
