Letter to Daddy (pt1)

by Marcus   Mar 7, 2007

Dear Daddy,
I just wanna take a few moments of your time to talk.
With all your books and poetry, we barely have any time to talk.
I figure if I write you, you'll understand the severity of my pain.
I waited for you last night, but just like you, you never came

That's OK because like you say mommy's to blame.
Mommy be making you mad and that's why you choose family anther fame.
But I'm sorry and mommy says she sorry to,
So daddy come back, unpack I need you.

I believe you when you said you'll never leave me or deceive me.
I'm looking out window right now, is that you daddy, you see me.
O! That's not you that's just mommy's friend.
She said he's my uncle, so I guess that's you brother then.

I never knew you had a brother,
So I called grand mom and she said she only had one child she mother.
You see how wild it is around here without you.
Daddy you know I love you add I don't want to be without you.

Come back, come back, and come back, I'm getting weary.
Come back, come back, come back, daddy you hear me.
