Nothing has been harder than leaving you behind
Every single step away from you took eternity
Games of illusions were played by my mind
Reflection of your face shadowed my sanity

Every tear fantasized of falling on your hands
Somehow reality washed my wishes away
Blowing whispers in the air for someone to understand
Realizing the difference between present and yesterday

The second and third stanza were my favorite ones. You are truely a talented writer.

Pure brilliance with such heart within the lines..
This almost reduced me to tears for some reason, i don't know why, the sheer powerfulness of the words just got to me.
