Whats lost but now forgotten

What once was a feeling i had never had
what once was i feeling which made me very glad

at one time my life took a turn for the worse
at one time my life felt more like a curse

that curse i feel no more, for i got to meet you that one day at the store
that curse no more, for my best friend you have become more and more

i know you cant stay for you have to go away
i know you cant stay for you have live and play

for i hope to be able to stay intouch with you
for i hope one day you will say i want to be with you

now i learned that you have met someone
now i want you to know, i know someday i will be that one

to not have this feeling would make me very sad
that i can not forget this feeling that i still have
