Mistakes, and Lessons Learnt.

by Daniel Rutter   Mar 13, 2007

I've loved a lot of people,
In my short and boring life,
And though I'm only young,
I've finally learned a lesson that will change the rest of my life.

Every girl I ever loved,
Used me in some way,
Leaving me for some other guy,
No goodbyes or anything.

The lessons learned,
Don't fall in love,
Love hurts to much,
For my brittle body to handle.

The only people I love,
Are my family,
And my dog,
Sensual love is a waste of time.

I once made a mistake,
Leaving my family for a girl,
A girl I didn't know....
She ended up dumping me....for her ex.

I once made the mistake,
Of loving the same girl twice,
First off, she left me Cos her friend told her to,
And when I finally got her back...she left me for another guy...

The last girl I loved,
Just stopped talking to me...
I haven't heard from her in weeks;
I only met her once.....

So don't fall in love,
Learn from my mistakes,
Don't drop everything for a chance at love,
'Cause it'll turn around and bite you hard.
