Two Words

by veronica   Mar 13, 2007

My memories set aside.

I feel a sadness grow within;

a power I've never witnessed.

I help others,in exchange for their happiness.

It heals my wounds;

they bleed so profusely.

Though invisible blood,

I seem to shed.

Its spells two words,

though they cant be read.

Though for now I'm content,

for now I'm alive.

But deep inside,

A love did arrive,

and the pain did subside.

But it came back,

a haunting memory,

a painful glimpse.

Do i dare reminisce,

the blood once shed?

I cant just recede and watch,

all the pain handed round.

All the tears shed,

and in stone I will scratch,

two words of power.

Though written in invisible blood,

shed for those i have loved.

I fear my call may not be heard,

for like invisible blood,

you will not hear a word.

I'll help and I'll help,

and in return may i see,

a wonderful smile,

given by thee?

You cant see my blood,

or hear my cries out loud.

So go on and ask,

for some random task.

I'll happily oblige.

And should the need rise,

I'll call out again,

or spell those two words.

But for now I'm content,

for now I'm alive.

My memories subside.
