Perfection

The night was a glow with passion as the waves crashed into sand
And two shadows sat in darkness hand clasped in hand
With their eyes locked onto the sky they watched the stars gleam
Knowing the world was more beautiful now than it ever had seemed
And they softly let out a sigh and listened to the others breath
Listening to the moment and the pounding in their chest
Forgetting the world around them they unlocked their stare
And looked into each others eyes and just felt the other there
And he slowly lifted up his hand and gently stroked her face
Making her lose her breath and fall victim to his grace
Taking now her body he held her tight within in his arms
And whispered that he loved her and hed keep her safe from harm
Her lungs forgetting how to work now she softly looked into his eyes
Not saying a to him a word but she tenderly did cry
For the bliss within her soul was more than she could take
This happiness within her was more than she could fake
And although he did not know it she wanted him by her side
More than that she needs him forever and that she could not hide
Stay with me she asked him unlocking their stare
And quietly he whispered, Ill always be there
When you wake in the morning and you dream in the night
Ill be here for eternity to keep you in my sight
Closing their eyes now they softly did kiss
And fell asleep knowing that this was true bliss
