The light you bring to me

My life was dark until today,
because before the lights could go away,
but now you have lit a fire inside,
invincible to the tears I have cried,
I can now stand alone, facing time, withstanding the tortures that I find,
but through all the pain,
and through all the years,
I have had more time to figure out,
just what this life is all about,
and what I find is quite clear,
it is a mirror,
it is finding what you can clearly see,
it is more then just apart of me,
it is you,
it is true,
you are my girl,
but even more you are me,
and you see what I see,
a future together,
always at my side,
never wondering away,
because our love is unquestionable today.
