Lessons in life aren't always easy

This is for a guy,
my bes-test ever friend,
my soul mate forever,
regardless of our end.
I wish you all the happiness,
that all the world could bring,
may all your dreams come true,
and lay-ed out as straight as string.
I hope you live the life,
you have in mind,
no matter how much I wish,
we could together rewind.
Our past is always in my thoughts,

not being in love with me.
You deserve so much more,
obviously I can't provide,
maybe your right and apart,
our hearts won't collide.

more and more each day,

If love is real and true,
never does it end,
no matter what lies ahead,
there'll always be that bend.
No one can replace you,
In away this means a lot,
sometimes I hope to meet another,
even though you've stolen any spot.
I realize that it is a gift to love,
regardless of the return,
I just will be crushed,
when your back is forever at a turn.
I guess finding happiness in yours,
is enough for me,
that's what love is,
thinking of what you want to be.
If I do love again,
it won't be the same,
probably there for I won't,
couldn't handle the shame.
Would prefer something real and true,
than second best so not alone,
your the dream guy every girl wants,
